Please join us on Saturday August 8, 2026 for Town of Niagara 5K at Veterans Memorial Park in the Town of Niagara. We are also hosting a 1-mile family fun walk and FREE Kids Fun Run (10 and under). All 5K & 1-Mile Walk participants who register by Friday July 31st at 9am are guaranteed to receive one of our keepsake Town of Niagara 5K t-shirts in their requested size. We will order a small supply of extra shirts that will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.
5K RUN (6:00PM)
The 5K race will start and finish at Veterans Memorial Park in the Town of Niagara using USATF Certified Course #NY18006JJ. Start time is set for 6pm. Both the start and finish line are located in the large parking lot adjacent to the Senior Center/Recreation Building. Most of the course is on asphalt however the woodland section is a packed gravel trail. There will be one water stop located at the mid point and bottled water will be provided at the finish line.
1-MILE FAMILY FUN WALK (6:00PM)
We are also offering a 1-Mile Family Fun Walk (6pm start with the 5K runners). 1-Mile Walkers will receive an event t-shirt if they register by 7/31/26 at 9am. They will start a short distance behind the 5K runners (see map below) and enjoy a scenic walk through the park as shown on the map below!
KIDS FUN RUN! (5:30pm)
We are hosting a FREE Kids Fun Run at 5:30pm open to kids 10 and under. All kids will receive a finisher medal as they cross the finish line!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the races. Packet pickup and race day registration will take place at Calvin K. Richards Senior/Youth Activity Center located near the finish line from 4:00 pm right up until the start of the race at 6:00 pm. Light food/snacks will be served to runners after the race prior to the awards ceremony.
5K Race Registration: $25 through race day
1-Mile Walk Registration: $25 through race day
Kids (10 & Under) Fun Run: FREE through race day (includes finish medal while supplies last)
*All 5k and 1-Mile Walk participants who register before 7/31/26 at 9am will be guaranteed to receive an official Town of Niagara 5K t-shirt in their requested size! POST RACE CELEBRATION
Race organizers will be serving light food/snacks after the race at the Calvin K. Richards Senior/Youth Activity Center along with bottled water at the finish line.
PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at Veterans Park! The lot closest to the finish line can hold approximately 40 cars and the other lots (walking distance away) can hold hundreds of vehicles if needed.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. Custom age awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female runners.
Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
